Introduced the By-laws and Election Process during my Presidency in 2015.
Launched the “Valai Ilai Virunthu” event, which continues successfully today.
Organized fundraising events for the Harvard Tamil Chair Initiative, Chennai Flood Relief fundraising, contributing to TNF, Sewa International, and Udavum Karangal.
Helped secure the Massachusetts Cultural Fund grant for our Sangam in 2025.
Pursue larger cultural grants to strengthen our Sangam’s future.
Work toward long-term infrastructure growth, including a dedicated auditorium for Tamil Sangam events in Massachusetts.
What Key Things Have I Done for FeTNA
● Brought New England Tamil Sangam into FeTNA membership during my NETS Presidency in 2015 and Pittsburgh Tamil Sangam in 2021.
● Led “Vanakkam Vada America” (now “Vagai Soodi & Kalai Theni”) from 2020–2024, helping attract 300+ additional families to FeTNA conventions.
● Revived FeTNA’s current official GSuite email system with a FREE Subscription for better organizational communication.
● Restored the FeTNA convention website through fetna-convention.org after the original domain (fetnaconvention.org) was completely lost.
● I established 50 WhatsApp groups, systematically organized them, and added volunteers (from Tamil Sangams) who had expressed their interest to each respective group.
● With nearly 75 Tamil Sangams — including multiple Sangams in many states — representation has become increasingly limited with only 13 board positions available. The growing community deserves broader representation and leadership opportunities.
● Attended 10+ FeTNA Conventions straight with the family and contributed as “Vallal”.
What I Will Do for FeTNA as
Establish a dedicated Job Opportunities Portal on the FeTNA website to share employment openings across NA and Canada, coordinated through Zonal Coordinators and the FeTNA Job Search Committee for the welfare of Tamils and Tamil Sangams.
Work toward bringing FeTNA National Championship recognition under the College Board National Recognition Program (CBNRP).
Launch Women Empowerment initiatives focused on mentorship, advocacy, mental health awareness, and support networks across North America.
Promote transparent and inclusive convention planning to bring the convention to Tamil Sangams with equal support and provide Convention Roadmap.
Ensure TIMELY sharing of Meeting Minutes with the General Body for stronger transparency and also with a clear distinction between discussion points and formal resolutions
Maintain responsive, respectful, timely, and neutral communication across FeTNA email and WhatsApp platforms for all delegates and lifetime members.

General Promises
● As part of the உழைப்பே உயர்வு, my efforts, service, and contributions will always remain dedicated to the growth, unity, and welfare of FeTNA and its member Tamil Sangams.
● I remain firmly committed to upholding the principles and by-laws of FeTNA, placing the organization’s values above personal interests, and representing FeTNA with dignity and respect in all public forums.
● I will continue to encourage and support individuals who contribute meaningfully to Tamil Sangams, irrespective of gender, while creating greater opportunities for the next generation to actively participate and lead the future growth of FeTNA.
● Tamil is an emotion that transcends borders. From Eelam to America, let us unite through Tamil identity, strengthen our global Tamil community, and expand charitable initiatives with the support and guidance of FeTNA.
